Hey guys! Time for my bi-yearly journal entry. I recently uploaded a series of paintings, which I have compiled into one deviation called 'Tiega you're a Star'. Check it out! Give me feedback! Lets nerd out about turtles! But besides shamelessly promoting myself on my own page about my own paintings that are months late, I have a bit of a problem.

Recently I moved to Arizona, to a town called Tempe, right outside of Phoenix. I have a lot of time to sit and reflect on what I can, and should be doing with my life. A big part of my moving down here was to focus on my art and get better with my craft. But I am in a huge slump. I don't know what to paint, when to paint, or even if I have the will to paint anymore. Arizona is very lonely, since I've moved away from all my friends, family, and everything I've ever known, to a town I'd never heard of, to a state I'd never even visited. I feel stuck! I need help! And by help I mean a kick in the butt, or several kicks in the butt, to help me snap out of my slump. It feels silly to ask for help but there it is. 

If you have any ideas of stock pictures or deviations you think look cool, or if you'd like me to continue a series or start a new one, whatever it is, please let me know. I'd love to see some interest, I know it'll help me feel like 'I can do it' enough to actually do it.

I finally got a Flickr account! For all of my pieces that I really feel exemplify my style of painting and traditional art, I'll be loading those pieces onto my flickr account. My deviantart page is mostly going to be for smaller projects and everything else I WANT to be up online. It'll have everything, basically.

I've been getting back into watercolors lately. It's so much fun! I really like doing these deer pieces.
I also really liked making the portrait of my friend titled "Tyson".

It was modeled after 's work. I'm thinking of also making a series that's like the Tyson piece, but with lions. I'm reeeally liking doing these experiments. It makes me feel so much better about myself, especially since I don't have a sketchbook to draw in right now. Sad!

Anyway, a quick question. I want to do at least three more of these deer pictures. I want them all to have flowers in it, and I want all the deer in them to be gestural. What are some flower species you think would look good in these?

Hello all. It's that time of the year again when I make my oh-so-rare journal updates on here.

Today I've submitted two items that I'd been working on. Both rave related, alright!! The first is the 'Citrus Pix', the other 'I Am Rave'. I've decided that I'm going to try and monopolize the underground rave flier making business out here for at least a few months. I've gotten more work that way so far then any other, and if nothing else I figure it'll help me with my portfolio. I'm also going to try my hardest to get into this comic book internship that my teacher let me in on. Imagine what sort of superheros (or villains!) I would make up. Whew boy, hahaha.

Well I suppose that's all I have for now. Not much of an update but oh well

So I really really like making poster and flyer designs. Serious Business and Ground Zero have been the most recently of this new thing I'm into, but I plan on making many more

At some point, I'm also going to expand the Sealife stationary into several pages -- including one with, of course, a turtle...and maybe a giraffe fish :3

This semester I'm taking two history classes, a beginning figure drawwing class, and a 'freehand drawing' class, which is going to be an easy A. Stay tuned for more updates of my art! Thanks for all the support
